I had not realized that it's already been 4 months since I watched the first episode, it took me this long to decide to watch the second episode. It's not that I dislike the anime, it's that I relate a little too much with Hitori and it hurts to watch. I have the exact same level of social anxiety, so I know exactly how she feels during this episode. It's really hard to resist peer-pressure when you're afraid that saying "no" could have devastating consequences in a relationship that you've struggled to create with someone. My social anxiety gets to the point where I can't even bring myself to make phone calls, even if it's for something important. Working any job that would require for me to interact with customers would be impossible for me. On a similar note, I saw a few days ago via a Youtube recommendation a video of Hitori's VA meeting Hitori's live stage actress for the first time, and the latter, Mamono Mamo, apparently also suffers from the same kind of anxiety, so she has a natural Bocchi personality but still manages to perform live while portraying as Hitory, which I find quite admirable.
