So that's why I believe TFS but Jynx and Mr. Popo together. 6:23 A lot of the Lord Slug movie is basically a retelling of the King Piccolo saga from OG DB except he doesn't spit out an egg that becomes Slug Jr. like King Piccolo did to create the current Piccolo Jr. 11:10 The dragon's bones are seen outside meaning that they killed him and are using his meat for stew 19:23 So Lord Slug was made before the animators knew that SSJ was going to have blonde hair (to reduce ink and time taken to draw Saiyans black hair) hence the Super Saiyaman (that also could be seen as a nod to something in the Buu saga) 24:24 All of who died in the OG arc and why they had to use the Namekian Dragonballs to bring them back to live after the Saiyan saga (except Roshi)

2024-02-07 01:22:58 +0000 UTCThe joke here is that pretty much everything about Lord Slug mirrors King Piccolo from the first Dragonball series when Goku was a kid. King Piccolo used the dragonballs to wish for his youth to return, then took over the world and killed Krillin, Chiaotzu and Master Roshi. Goku defeated him by blasting through his torso like he did here. And he wished back all his friends afterwards. Which is why Goku ended the movie by stating he was gonna wish everyone back even though no one died. He was confusing this with last time because it was so unoriginal.
