It's worth noting that the word used for "Ogre" in the fairy tale and the word used for "Demon" when Subaru said "Demonically Inspired"/"Fanatical like a Demon" that got a smile out of Rem last loop is the same word "Oni". Both translations are technically correct but it wouldn't necessarily have the same evil/negative connotation like the word "demon" would in English.
