I know somebody in your live chat mentioned it but the art of Spinjitzu as you said you were aware can be learned by anybody the reason that the ninja still appear to retain their Elemental aesthetic is just due to the fact that they still have their powers it's just the Vengestone around them actively mutes them, but their powers aren't gone so they're Spinjitzu is still going to retain the look of their element as you said it's pretty much aesthetics.
