It's why the hollow biting Masaki was killing her. -They added the same voice effect they use on the visors, when they have their masks on, to Hitsugaya when his bankai was released. -The bit at the end was a hint to something from the "Bleach Can't Fear Your Own World" light novels. Which could also be confirmation that we are getting those converted to anime at some point. Also! Shinji's bankai wasn't in the manga originally. It made it's first appearance in the light novels.
