Sorry for so many posts of this one back to back! I wanted to be able to fully get it off my plate. I hope you enjoyed it!

Hey Jacob! Thanks for being so open and honest. Here's some Peer reviewed ECT journal stuff. https://www.cambridge.org/core/journals/advances-in-psychiatric-treatment/article/memory-and-cognitive-effects-of-ect-informing-and-assessing-patients/DD5C63934357779765BA7ADF308275AE

2025-08-29 01:38:21 +0000 UTCHello Jacob! I've already left comments on this series in various places, so I won't reiterate them here, but something just popped into my head and I needed to leave another message. I don't want to be one of those "NOW DO THIS" people and I fully understand if you don't want your channel to be "The Bipolar Channel" - but I remembered season 3 of a Norwegian show called Skam (can be watched without having seen the rest of the show). It was *huge* when it aired about ten years ago and became an international phenomenon - it's been remade nine times in different countries, I believe. All that to say that the main storyline involves a bipolar character, and even though I can't judge accurately because I don't have the personal experience, I think it was done very thoughtfully and made an enormous impact on me (and a lot of others). At the time, the show felt like a cultural earthquake (on many different fronts) and it encouraged so many people not only to educate themselves on mental health but also to seek help and open up to others. On top of that, the writing is really good - the conversations feel real and natural in a way that not many shows can capture. If you were interested in any way (and I know it would get some views since the fanbase is hardcore and international) and aren't scared off by the fact that it's Norwegian, I think it would be a really interesting reaction that I would love to see. (And even though it gets intense, it won't leave you wrecked the way this show did - I promise. The season's total runtime is 3.5 hours and it's all up on Youtube with subtitles, so you could technically fly through the whole thing in a day if you wanted. Can you tell that I'm trying to sweeten the pot? I would purchase the request if I had the funds!)

2025-08-26 10:41:23 +0000 UTCAs someone’s father who had bipolar, (He’s past now, he died by suicide when I was young), this series was really cathartic to me. Thank you for sharing your insight.
