This wasn’t originally planned and it’s definitely casual and off-the-cuff — but I needed a creative recharge, so I rewarded myself by diving into my favorite musical: Groundhog Day.
I’ve practically memorized this entire show, so while this isn’t a “pure reaction,” it’s more of an educational breakdown and writer’s analysis. We’re talking about why it works, how it’s constructed, and what makes Tim Minchin’s writing so sharp.
This is the first of a short series (probably 3–4 videos total), and since it kicks things off, I’m making this one free for all patrons.

Oh no! Did you never continue this review? :( Groundhog Day is among my favorite musicals, too and I am(/was) really enjoying hearing your perspective, which I've gotten to love to do in the last few weeks.
