I would love to hear your thoughts: Does Hazbin work better as an overarching story or as a serialized story where episodes are generally treated as self contained?

Overall story, but keep in mind the Creator of the series originally asked for more episodes and was told she could only have 8. There are definitely some pacing issues and issues with establishing characters. Her original plan was that she needed 3 seasons to tell her story. Since she signed on with Amazon and got seasons with 8 episodes she has now said she'll need at least 6 seasons to tell the whole story.

2025-05-12 15:58:50 +0000 UTCI think the season is too short and has too many villains that don't really do a lot, to feel like a complete story... there are so many plot points and so little time, so maybe self contained episodes would've worked better in some way
