Author + Worldbuilder React to Legends of Vox Machina

(Might be some tech issues with Patreon where this isn't showing up for some patrons. Hold tight if that's the case. I'm checking with support!)

Hey all! Didn't quite get this on youtube in time today. First collaboration on the channel, this one with my brother who has his own channel, Worlds With Spencer.

Just a viewer request video for now, but if there is interest we can keep it going!

Let me set expectations real quick:

1. We pause an absurd amount here. There was a lot to unpack. I went back and rewatched the episode at speed to make sure my criticisms still held with the timing, and I pretty much stand by them.

2. Full transparency: I didn't love the writing in this, but I hear it gets better as it goes! Excited to see what this show has.

3. If you all didn't enjoy the worldbuilding aspect of it and miss the focus on just narrative, I can do a second pass by myself as a patreon exclusive. I would hate for anyone to feel like they didn't get the reaction they were hoping for on a show they really wanted to see reacted to.

Best wishes! See you all in an hour or so for some Hazbin!

I think episode 3 is where the show hits its stride. Season 1 is mostly good, but Season 2 is an insane step up in quality. Season 3 mostly keeps that up.

Campaign 3 is what got me. I'm honestly struggling watching the abridged episodes let alone the full 4 to 6 hour episodes. But i got hit with the stalemate after the chetney arc and the groupd being split. Though campaign 3 easter eggs are in vox machina. But how can you not enjoy mighty nein, maybe.i just related to Jester more than i realized 🤔anyways.... .... back to watching analysis
