2025-05-06 22:15:29 +0000 UTCIm pretty sure in the original myth went like this: the deal was you cannot turn around until the sunlight has hit both their faces. Orpheus completes the walk back and out of excitement he turns around to hug Eurydice but she hadn't reached the sunlight herself yet, thus being sent back to the underground. Its a lot more tragic imo bc like against all odds he did it and it still didn't work bc of naivety. still love the musical and the story nonetheless <3
