Upcoming Novella - Exclusive First Look!

Hey all!

I wanted to share something special with you today to anyone on the Patreon.

In May (aiming for the 11th!), I’ll be releasing my first novella, set in the same universe as my upcoming epic fantasy The Seven Rangers. I'm currently doing one final quality pass, but I wanted to give you — my Patreon supporters — a first look at Chapter One.

Originally, I was planning to share this on YouTube. But another creator (whose work I really admire!) just released their own first chapter, and it felt more right to share this quietly, here.

This story follows Gwynn, one of the protagonists from The Seven Rangers, during her pre-teen years. It's very character-driven — the heart of it is Gwynn’s internal storms, her fierce love for her family, and her battle to be seen for who she really is.

If you’re looking for a fast-paced fantasy, this one might not be quite your style. But if you love moving, emotional character pieces, I think Gwynn’s story might resonate with you.

I hope you enjoy it — and thank you for being here.

I've had Gwynn for only a day and a half, but if anything happened to her, I'd unalive everyone in this room and then myself. So much about the start of this book is fantastic. I love the way you weave worldbuilding into everyday interactions, both giving us a sense of the rules and making us curious to learn more. Your language is evocative, easily visualized and made me have Big Feelings. Also feeling very represented by Gwynn, as I too am unstable and impulsive. These characters have DEPTH. Her dad might be a jerk, but he's also sick with worry over her safety. So excited to keep reading this when it's out.

I usually read medical/science/techno thrillers (Michael Crichton, Robin Cook etc) but I thoroughly enjoyed this. I could visualise each scene and enjoyed the fast paced feeling. I’m looking forward to reading more.
