I just saw this musical not that long ago. (Found it on youtube.) I attended a mormon church for a couple of months until they asked me to be baptized. I love hearing how someone raised in the religion reacts to this. I hope to see more of this soon!

2025-05-15 06:47:45 +0000 UTCWhile i understand some reactions not going into it for their reasons i think you having been a member of the church are allowed to say your feelings about it including the negative ones i wouldnt worry so hard. I dont think anyone could say you're being unfair having literally been in it. Pwrsonally having done a lot of religious research and watched a lot of content from former mormans who talk about the issues with the church and what made them leave and hardships they went through because of it it makes me feel weird when people dont engage with the satire about the real group, and i know not everyone feels the same but i thought i would give my 2 cents in support
