One problem about waiting so long in between episodes is forgetting things, but I did want to point something important out to you that you may have forgotten. In episode one, Grayson gave Vander the blue and gold cylinder seen in this episode, saying that it will reach her if needed. It was sent in this episode, but Vander seemed very calm while Vi seemed stressed, heavily implying that she called the enforcers and not Vander.

Vander doesn't decide to go to war and that also has a cost, (this next section will contain some additional lore from the show spoiler free but if you don't want to see it skip to the next paragraph). The undercity's air and water are poisoned by piltovers mining and other industrialization of the undercity (thats why enforcers wear masks when they go down there). Vander as one of the undercitys crimelords controls an area called the lanes but there are other areas. Its Vanders reputation that keeps the others at bay and his reputation is constantly taking hits in this show. (ep 1, he's older than people expect, ep2, he won't fight back even when his people want to and when enforcers insult and destroy his property he sits back not doing anything, deafeated) Once his reputation is all gone what will become of his people. (or if he gets iced like you keep suggesting). and even if his reputation stay's untill he dies his people are still living in the filth. Heck the kids stole from topside in the first place because they felt vander needed some help in some regard. In many ways its Vanders aprehension to doing things that lead to all this (obvously everyones mistakes in the show lead to this outcome). Vander gave up on changing the way the undercity is a long time ago, as he said on the bridge "I lead us across the bridge, thinking things could change" meaning he doesn't beleive things can change for them anymore. I love how the older characters in this show, symultainiusly (spelling I know) fit the wise old man and foolish old man tropes. (vander is a great guy btw don't think that I hate him) I left some other comments on previous episodes I think are pretty good as well if you wanted to have a look at them.

In the flashback at the beginning of episode 2, Jayce and his mother were freezing to death when they were saved by someone who teleported them away using the magic in a crystal. His mother had frostbite and lost her fingers, so that’s why she has metal appendages. The person who saved them gave Jayce the crystal they used, and Jayce has it sewn into that piece of cloth he wears around as a bracelet. Also, yes, Silco’s lair is underneath the river that separates piltover and the undercity.
