After the attacks on Japan in August, a formal declaration of was had been signed the following day. US forces, and NATO were now at war with Russia and its allies.
In the opening days of this new war, Russia invaded the Baltics, seizing control of the black sea from Turkey and Greece.
Nowz the USMC's 4th marines, 3rd Regiment, 2nd Battalion was pushing up through the Baltics.
What is being called as the Ember War, has begun.
