Hi! I advise you to try downloading again, because sometimes files break when downloading due to an unstable Internet connection or during use on your hard drive. Don't forget to delete the old files before doing so. Also some archiving programs can corrupt files during the extraction process.

hey so everytime i put it in my mods folder it wont let me open sims 4 and says some files are missing. I've used this mod before and it worked but now its not. I dont have much mods in my game just 4 but this mod isnt working for me :( pls help

Hello! Yes, they conflict because both mods are lighting mods. If you have both mods in your folder, then one of them will not work.

Hi! Yes, you only need to choose one of the components. Gshade presets are not in-game lighting (this is an overlay), so this mod will work with it!

Hi! Yes, it works with mac. Make sure that there are no other mods in your mods folder that somehow modify the game lighting (except sunblind, this mod works with it)!

At the moment I am using AVERAGE BASE LIGHT ROOMS. I advise you to try it and start from it, then take it darker or lighter if necessary.

install the file in the root folder (not in a subfolder), make sure that only this one file is in the root folder (the rest should be in the subfolder). if the mod works after that, then there was a file with game lighting somewhere. if it doesn't work, then update the game.

Hi! I've never tried using shaders myself, so I don't even know. But you can download the mod and see how it will look. And then delete if you don't like the result.

Hi! In «dark rooms» the lighting in the rooms is darker, and in «light rooms» the lighting in the rooms is lighter. The «dark rooms» option looks more realistic, I think. But I like «light rooms» more, because I'm tired of putting light bulbs all over the house so that my character's face becomes at least a little brighter, ha-ha.

Has your game been updated? If yes, it means that you still have another lighting mod somewhere in your folder («no glo», «no blue» and any others like that) otherwise it will work.

Hi! I will advise you to check your mods folder more carefully, because, most likely, there is a duplicate of another lighting mod in it (in all such cases it was so). If you can't find this file, then I can advise you to create two folders "_mods" and "mods" inside your mods folder. And put the file with my lighting mod in the "_mods" folder, and put all the other files or your folders (in general, everything except Resource.cfg) in the "mods" folder. Thus, my lighting will load into the game first and will work, despite the fact that there is another lighting mod in the second folder.

Hi! Love the idea of this mod! For some reason when I place it in my mods folder and open the game I don't see a difference. I have tried the bright base and the bright saturated versions, separately, and have removed my ootd + ittl lighting mods. Does softerhaze's newest lighting mod conflict with this? Or does cas lighting conflict with this? Sorry for the rambling, just really want to use this mod but I can't seem to get it to work :/

Thank you very much! 💗 I'm glad I finally finished the first version of this mod! As far as I know, softerhaze mods only change the "colors" of city lighting, I didn't touch this part. So softerhaze mod and mine should not conflict in theory. In addition, the softerhaze mod replaces the game files and it can not be put in the mods folder, so my mod will be installed "from above" anyway.

I'm impressed you were able to figure out how to effect indoor and outer lighting as some only focus on one and not the other.
