What is the story of Charlotte, North Carolina BEFORE the 1990s? How did Charlotte's history and culture forge the unconventional historian known as Lexual? It has been an honor and privilege getting to know you better as well as Charlotte as a whole. Over the last few years it is an area that has intrigued me, and this deep cut all but solidifies that I NEED to visit Charlotte in the near future for the first time. (Side note: having been born and raised in Louisiana, I MUST try Bojangle’s because I’ve always felt similar about Raisin Cane’s; it’s the toast and sauce that mostly ever got my attention, lmao.)

My favorite memories were trips to Charlotte with my brother and parents and getting to see historic neighborhoods when visiting family there. It was a long trip so it was always a treat every summer.
