Live streaming at 3pm Pacific

Hey everyone, we're going to be live streaming at 3PM Pacific today (30 minutes after this post). I am going to spend the majority of today looking at and rating other peoples PC setups that they sent pictures of on Twitter. I didn't expect nearly as many as people sent so this is something that could easily eat up a whole show and is going to be a lot of fun. Come hang out if you got some time otherwise if you miss it I will archive the show under "videos" on my Twitch page so you can watch later!

Thank you so much Patrons for your support 💘

I know, I've already seen it 👍 But I plan to do my own review if I can get them to cough one up eventually :D

I publish all my YouTube content there just so it's recoverable from somewhere else if YouTube shits the bed. I don't pay much attention to it but I do know people have found me on there. Just like any peer to peer application it's going to access the internet via multiple connections and ports and that is probably going to make some firewall software nervous. I use a VPN for all the traffic so it doesn't bug me one way or another and I can always just close it.

Hey Jerry, I doubt you got a chance to see my comments during your live stream today (I'm Hickory Hills), but jayz2cents has an excellent review of the GoXLR .

Are you familiar with the "LBRY" application? What do you think of it? It appears to be a YouTube want-a-be. Somehow it got installed on my computer. It uses a "daemon" file to access internet data. Malware Bytes block it form using port 4444. Here is an extract from the LBRY troubleshooting site...LBRY operates on a couple of different ports, and if there are conflicts/firewall rules/security settings that prevent them from being utilized, the app/daemon will experience start-up issues. LBRY tries to employ port forwarding through the use of UPnP, which may be disabled on some routers. Either UPnP must be enabled, or you have to manually forward the ports below (3333 TCP and 4444 UDP) in order to fully take advantage of the LBRY network. Only 1 PC on a network can have an open outside port, so if you are running multiple PCs with LBRY, they will need to be configured manually. Port 3333 - LBRY daemon runs and shares data on port 3333 (TCP) by default. Often times, this port can be already in use to due to mining software or other applications/services. Port 4444 - LBRY daemon utilizes port 4444 to stream and download data from the LBRY network. QUESTIONS....[1] is it safe to allow MB to ignore this daemon file? [2] Is this a trusted software package?
