Alex, who plays Unique, ended up as first runner-up, and their role is very special since it was one of the first transgender characters on a network primetime show! (mind you this was 2012). Alex has since come out as non-binary and in 2023 became the first non-binary actor to be nominated and win a Tony Award alongside J. Harrison Ghee!

2025-12-16 02:32:53 +0000 UTCto me the biggest issue with the kurt and blaine storyline was the fact that we didn't really see much of blaine being distant beforehand. sure he had the scene where he turned down going to the music store but kurt's flirting seems like it comes out of nowhere because the supposed behavior that led to it is basically all off-screen. it would've made much more sense if we saw blaine starting to pull away earlier
