That long driving scene is one of my favorite movie scenes ever for some reason, especially driving back, I never felt that kind of tension in anything before or after. Also this movie has one of the best soundtracks imo.

Also, credit to Benicio for pushing to cut lines from his character. It makes so much sense for him to talk so little. And because it's Benicio, he doesn't need words to tell a story. He used his face, his eyes, his body. He is in my top 5 actors of all time forever.

Yes. Bleak as hell, but the acting and the shots are all top tier. Jackman and Gyllenhaal, man.

Time for Taylor Sheridan's directorial debut: Wind River. Can't recommend it enough!

I’ve seen this a handful of times now and it blows me away every time. All the performances are stellar but Benicio just steals it. His sadness seems to seep out of his pores.

I'd never seen or heard of this movie before. What a masterpiece in acting, writing, cinematography, score, themes and excitement. Everything was so purposeful and precise; the subject matter was hard but the film was a not just a story but breathtaking experience, merging us within it. Amazing. 👏👏Loved watching along with you guys as always.

Her issue is she wants to do things legally . Also the us govt working with a cartel and using a cartel asset to take out a Mexican cartel head just to “control” the drug trade is her problem . Del Toro really is just a hired gun a hired assassin who works for any side for the money though in this mission it was more personal .

Once you hear about Benecio’s family, you’re on board. But then when he takes out the Head Cartel’s kids…it’s like….the cycle of violence continues. And that this happens every day in real life. It really is a horror film….a real life horror.
