League trivia! 🤓☝️ The doctor's skills in the game are all about running away and Vander's skills are all about chasing people. So the doctor leaving a trail of blood for Vander to find him was a cool nod to their kits! The doctor farts out a trail of chemicals while he runs away and Vander can see the location of anyone with low HP and he gets a speed boost if he runs to them.
Also everyone was confused by the Mel side story, no worries. It's mostly set up for the new show.

Y'all should check out some lore shorts after arcane on YouTube, maybe a special thing for patreon. There's a whole lot, you can first focus on the ones that are closest related to arcane. And expand if you want to. But they are all very worth checking out, some at close quality to arcane.

just to let you know so you’re less confused, there are multiple huge countries within the arcane world and zaun/piltover is just one small place. the goal was always to have multiple shows that expand on the various places in LoL and Mel/Ambessa’s storyline is a set up for the next LoL tv show that will take place in their home country of Noxus

another thing that gets me about this episode is the small snippets we get of silco finding vi and jinx’s mom dead on the bridge. he found jinx half dead on that bridge years later, i can’t imagine what he was feeling then

God, that hug between Vander, Vi, Jinx, and Isha always has me sobbing, no matter how often I see it. Arcane really knows how to gut punsh you with emotional impact. These small interpersonal connections really are the heart of the show, despite all the political drama going on around it. I'm so happy they had a very long black screen after that before they went into the next scene. Got us to really feel our emotions.
But also ... Jayce just came back, looking rough, and murdered one of two remaining council members (not that the council does anything anymore under martial law). Ruthless.
