My continuous reminder tho that rebecca is also people and also a person operating from an insane world of hurt. And Ted’s panic attacks are more attributed to the change and pain with him and his wife’s situation. Also the club isn’t just some thing rebecca got, Rupert used it to hide his women, she was involved in all the club’s charity planning like she said earlier, and the old coach said what’s worse your husband cheating on you or being the last to know, basically implying everyone in that building knew what Rupert was doing and never said a word to her, and her husband obviously cared about it more than her so why wouldn’t she want to take it down? We hate to see it because we see the players and beard and Ted and Nate and we love them so much but I’ve always understood where rebecca was coming from no matter how much it made me upset. Every time I watch a ted lasso reaction I have to beg for like crumbs of sympathy and understanding of Rebecca’s character

I think this ep was a turning point bc Sassy called her out on her part in it and is making Rebecca really question how much of who she's become was because of Rupert, and how much was herself.

I fully expected when Sassy showed up to see the typical jealousy trope between her and Keeley but nope, they just instantly respected and admired one another. those moments (combined with all the other fantastic character writing) are what make this show so human and so special!!! p.s. if you ever want a show with a similar vibe, I HIGHLY recommend Shrinking on Apple tv. It was co-created by Brett Goldstein (roy) and he even appears in season two. just another one of those comedy-feel good shows that also makes you feel so many emotions!!
