I probably would have suggest Bly Manor before this one though it might serve as a little palatecleanser. I adore the Flanaverse cast of characters, it's very Orson Wells. Haven't seen this show in forever and I'm enjoying watching it with you!

Katie Sackhoff and Michael Trucco are also in it and Michael is in this show and Katie is finally joining the Flanaverse in an upcoming series.

I love getting to know the different characters that the Flanaverse actors get to play in each production. They're so talented.

Poe writes some of my favorite detective fiction, and fun fact for you both, Dupin helped to inspire Sherlock Holmes, and what a legend for Flanagan to show on screen! Each recreation of a Poe story made me love this show... thanks for letting us watch this one with you :)

2025-09-19 21:50:12 +0000 UTCSo, before The Haunting of Hill House, Flanagan directed a movie called “Gerald’s Game.” It is based on a Stephen King novel and includes a lot of the same cast, including Carla Gugino and Bruce Greenwood, who star in it. It’s one of my favorite little horror movies. I know you’re only watching horror because we keep asking you to, but it’s a fantastic and well-made movie. It’s scary, unsettling, but I highly recommend.
