I also reiterate the racist thing because I’ve seen reactions to this season and people being like “why does he hate Lucas so much” and I’m just like 😐 let’s use our brains here ppl

I’m sure it’s been explained by now why hopper blames himself so much for his daughter’s death. They show little bits and pieces this season and last season and if you keep the timeline of the show in mind hopper fought in Vietnam. Got exposed to agent orange which then had complications on those people and their kids. A lot of kids were born sick, still born, or with various health defects. Hopper’s daughter lived longer than a lot of other people who were similarly affected so you can assume they thought they were lucky and in the clear. Then she got sick because of it and so he thinks it’s his fault

"I don't know if I know anyone who has forgotten their first kiss"
✋🏼😬 To be fair, I have brain damage so that's the reason why but I don't remember my first kiss. I know it must have happened when I was around 13 but other than that it's blank. 🤷🏼♀️

Season 2 is a lot better than the first time I watched it, in hindsight. This has peak Hopper and I have to give it up for that.
I will say, there are already some mildly annoying things, like the inappropriate Murray side quest, the Dustin and Dart subplot, Billy’s unfocused characterisation, and the lost sister episode.
For me, the writing never gets back to being as tight as season 1, and you will probably notice it. But season 4 is so punchy that it lets me forgive a lot of annoying things that are about to happen.
Curious to see if you guys experience it the same or differently. I adore your reactions either way.
