Loved it! Gotta say it, by far my favorite Superman film. I really enjoyed Man of Steel, and Henry Cavill was a great Superman (I love him learning to fly with the score behind him), but I got a bit overwhelmed by the battle and destruction at the end.

I have vaguely fond memories of CR being superman back in the 80s, didn't like sad superman as per HC, but this film really changed things up for me. I loved everything about it, Also i need a Krypto in my life.

I'm glad we got a superman that is a "normal good guy" and the whole family vibe and relationships with his teammates from Justice gang and daily planet colleagues was really well presented and worked so well - the dynamic between them. I also loved the lunatic psyco Lex. I don't think it missed the motivation as I took his main motivation is jealousy as he mentions - he is smart and cannot stand that out of nowhere an alien arrived and stole his glory. He wanted to be the "idol" but saw another taking that spot and the person is not even "human", so there is also prejudice there. I am excited for Supergirl, it feels it will be a really interesting approach to the character. Also, Krypto is good boy no doubts about it. Mr Terrific was the surprise for me, he was amazing in this.

2025-08-18 20:23:14 +0000 UTCThis movie finally made me understand people's love for Superman. I'd never gotten why he inspired people to be better until I saw this. 10/10 from me and at least a top 5 superhero film of all time on my list.

2025-08-18 19:48:31 +0000 UTCI was never a big Superman fan and this movie did for me what The Batman (2022) did for me as well, it turned me around completely. I had a blast with this movie and it felt like a breath of fresh air. So many hero movies have this sort of nihilistic, edgy feel which is cool, but the earnest, well-meaning, good to his core Superman here just did it for me. Kindness IS punk rock!
