Vampires/Schmampires. Im terrified of religious zealots. Man Monsignor is amazingly evil. I say evil because I dont think he is this naive and devout, I think he is selfish and not doing this for "good" or out of love... he has to have an ulterior motive. I just don't know what yet. Bev is just a crazy zealot, who IS that devout. That Riley death reveal was magnificent! I really hope they don't try to make Bev a good guy.

I got some theological bones to pick with Pruitt's sermon. ๐ And Bev is the perfect example of why my church teaches that we should read the book of Revelation "literarily, not literally."

Watching for the first time with y'all and I loved that ending! It was tragically beautiful. I think in his last moments, Riley truly embraced the Serenity Prayer. He accepted what he couldn't change (gave himself the grace to admit that he did the best he could), and he tried to change what he had the power to by doing the only thing he could to save Erin. And he had the discernment (unlike Pruitt) to tell the difference and know that he could still choose not to kill again.
