I know it technically true but since I was born in the 80s it hurts my soul a little 😅 Haha and as far as kids cussing, I don't stop my 6 and 9 year old from using cuss words since they're ultimately just words like any other. They do have rules though. They can't use them at school or the grandparents', nor can they use them in malice (like insulting each other or us or anyone else for that matter). So if they say "shit" after stubbing their toe or something then they're using them properly in my book.

And the fact that the last season was essentially eight feature length horror movies with some of the best writing to come from Netflix, continues to blow my mind. Cannot wait for season 5.

Parents had no idea where I was, I would bike with friends to other nearby towns. It was great. With the tech now I wouldn't have been able to do half the stupid shit I did then without parents knowing.

Such an amazing show with homages to some of the greats from the 80’s. Even the season I felt was the weakest was still great television. Enjoy!

I feel like that's cool for the generation above me and maybe below me but for everyone of my generation that's not really the case. It just kind of comes off as trashy and dumb. I know it's not really fair to characterize smokers like that, and I've tried to undo that prejudice as I've gotten older. It's maliciously addictive. But the messaging really conditioned me to think "oh you're poor and tacky and stupid" when I see someone smoking. Obviously because the tabaco industry tricked so many people into thinking it was luxurious and deep and cool, they took a vicious hard 180 in the anti-tabaco messaging. Just interesting that even though you and I both have the same actual knowledge of cigarettes, and both know we were conditioned to have a certain reaction, neither of us can overcome that programming lol.
