2025-07-03 02:52:16 +0000 UTCIf you guys didn’t get this by part 2, just wanted to explain that the reason most people use swords is that a shield protects against most projectile weapons, like a standard gun. The dart guns you see are developed specifically for penetrating shields. And the lasguns that you see, more prominently in part 2 used by the Harkonnen’s, cause a nuclear explosion upon impact with a shield, killing both the attacker and person being attacked. All of this makes standard sword fighting much more prominent.

2025-05-24 05:16:16 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite parts is Jamis' introduction. A lot of people feel disappointed that Jamis never gets to show Paul the ways of the desert, but he actually does. Paul's first hard lesson is during his fight with Jamis and you can see the effect it has on him later.

Rewatches have given me a better understanding of who everyone is and the lore/history/politics. Hans Zimmers score is just EPIC and no wonder he won an Oscar for it. Will be going to watch Hans Zimmer in concert next year - expensive but so worth it 🤩 Looking forward to your Dune Part 2 reaction 🔜 xxx

Visually stunning and fantastic cast, although Timothee Chalamet doesn’t quite fit the idea of Paul I formed in my mind after reading the book many years ago. But that’s a personal bias, I guess. Still, in every other way a stunning feat of filmmaking. Looking forward to Part 2.

This has happened to many other youtube reactors on patreon so they change the format of their full-length reactions to blurring out the movie you watch and adding a timer instead so we the watcher have to watch our own copy alongside yours and just sync up the timing. That way you won't just randomly have your videos removed by the movie/tv show production companies out of the blue without your knowledge. just letting you know. Take care and love your reactions!
