Their bad reactions purely made from their assumptions just because he was in Twilight (which was TEN YEARS PRIOR, (he acted the exact way he was supposed to) was so ridiculous. Rob had done 8+ movies after that, some of which were impressive performances. I couldn't wait for him to prove them all wrong, which he did.

Beating up low-level thieves, drop heads and gang-bangers does NOTHING when there are SYSTEMIC issues that are causing the dire conditions of Gotham...If Bruch had actually paid attention to his real family legacy he would have made sure that Wayne enterprises was well managed. He would have made sure the orphanages were well funded, and that the renewal fund wasn't hijacked by the mob... he could create jobs and more public assistance programs with his billions of dollars but instead he listens to Nirvana and drives around at night doing...dare I say...jack shit... Like in this film, Batman was SO BAD at his "job" that the damn Riddler thought they were working TOGETHER! Think about it, who did he save in this film? No one, thousands of people died because of Bruce's inability to see outside of his own, privilege and bias and arrogance. Sure, he meant well in becoming the Batman, but meaning well does not mean hat you're actually doing good things that create LASTING and MEANINGFUL change...

But like, imagine being 10 years old living in Gotham then watching your parents be brutally murdered in front of you... all the money in the world can't fix that trauma... so you hide away in your castle, become a total recluse except for your nocturnal trips into the city to beat up poor people... You have 0 social skills and he's clearly a virgin lmaooo yea he's a freaky weirdo who spies on people from the shadows and runs around the city dressed like a bat! FREAK! (And I love him for it)

The agent said he thought Pattinson only wanted to play freaks and Pattinson said that Batman was a total freak. I think he succeeded in playing him like one.

I love Matt Reeves, I love Robert Pattinson and I love film noir detective thrillers and this movie gives it ALL to me. Nah, because you're telling me we got Matt Reeves directing and writing (with Peter Craig) Then we have my man Mickey G on the score and then we have the most emo Batman to ever exist and his personal soundtrack is Nirvana?!?!?! OH and his Alfred is played by Andy MF Serkis ?!!?!?!? Yea... inject this straight into my VEINS!!! I've watched this movie over 10 times... no I DON'T have a problem!!!
