May the Fourth Be With You
Added 2025-05-04 20:39:33 +0000 UTCOne of our artists took a short break from their render schedule to create this render for the Star Wars’ unofficial holiday, ‘May the Fourth Be With You.’ It features one of those characters that you love to hate, Randy.
I could go into the whole background of that holiday, and how it should probably never get confused with the Chinese historical event, the May Fourth Movement, or when it was first used (in a UK political ad).
But that’s only interesting to history wonks like me.
So, without thinking too hard on the matter, just enjoy the silly holiday, much as you would, say, Towel Day (25 May), Put a Pillow in your Fridge Day (May 29), and Hug a Cat Day (June 4). This last one could be problematic if you either don’t have a cat or work at a zoo. Use common sense and bring catnip.
