‘’Ah-choo, ack ack ack’’

~Me, all week long

Hello, all. I said I was going to post last Friday, on the 19th, and had every intention to, but I was attacked by a wicked beastie that hid amongst others of its ilk waiting to strike out at me.

In other words, the five-year-old child of a friend of mine sneezed on me. And that was more than enough to turn me into a horse-throated mucous machine for the past several days. I have been pretty miserable, sneezing into facemasks at work and in general avoiding any activity that wasn’t related to sleeping in a bed.

I am now of the opinion that Nyquil is in fact one of the most important inventions of the 20th century, right up there with tv and blackout curtains.I utilized all three during my cosplay as a plague victim until today, where I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I am hoping it is not an oncoming train.

Anyway, progress - I must admit that, apart from some storyboarding and outlining, I have done very little with the writing. My cohorts in the game have fared better. We are moving closer to a playable framework for playtesting, and the music is already in place for about 90% of the first update. All that is remaining is completing the rest of the revised scripts and image creation/rendering which - as you may have already guessed - is what has been taking as much time as it has.

As I feel on the road to recovery, I will post an update after our development meeting this Sunday.
