Hey Sweeties! ⚰

Set One this month is something a little different. We’re keeping with the gothic vibe for Halfway to Halloween (you know it’s my favourite time of year!), and I was so excited to bring you Vampirella… but this shoot didn’t quite go to plan.

I decided to try something new and use my natural hair with extensions to give her that iconic long, flowing look. But honestly? I wasn’t happy with how it turned out at all. My hair is at such an awkward length right now, and it kept creeping over my shoulders, completely ruining the illusion for me. Even after editing and touching up these shots, I just wasn’t feeling it. I can’t sit and work on a whole set when I’m frustrated that I didn’t test the hair properly beforehand!

So, I’m reshooting. I’ve made a new wig that’s way more accurate to her comic look, and I’m giving the whole thing another go. Sometimes these things happen—you assume something will work, and then you realise mid-shoot it’s not quite right. But I’m lucky I get to take the time to redo it, and I’m grateful I can make it even better for you.
