Hello dearest Patrons!
It's an exciting month of transitioning from festival stress to the thrill of new creation!
- Kind World: The pilot is done! Technically! We've submitted it to festivals, but now that deadline pressures are off, we want to work a little more on the audio before showing it off to you all. You'll still get the nearly twenty minute pilot before the public, and you'll see your name in the credits! Then it's on to the scripts to get the next part going!
- Angel Hare Festival Cut: The festival cut is done and submitted! If you want to see your favorite show but a little off with strange new music and no text, go through that emotional rollercoaster right here: https://youtu.be/iQNdiTWxbzw
Why new music? Well season one was a year ago and we're a little more firm on making sure things we're using are actually public domain/permitted instead of just ok by youtube's checks. It'll have a different vibe, but as the public channel isn't monitized anyways, the original episodes are staying as is <3 Season 2 will be more strict! And speaking of..
- Angel Hare Season 2: Is upon us! Production's already underway and lines went out to actors today. We're aiming for an anniversary release of the first sunday of September. We hope you'll enjoy what's in store!
- Angel Hare game: What now? Don't get too excited, it's just going to be a small project for this year's Spooktober Visual Novel Game Jam, but it is going to be an Angel Hare spin-off. While small and polite in scale, we hope you'll enjoy this extra gift, planned to be ready to play by Spooktober's deadline in October.
- The End of Mystery Road: This year we submitted a short film pitch to the SC Indie Film Grant. It's got a slice of arg culture and spotlights some of the fun and scary sides of the community. All we're doing for now is submitting the script and pitch deck to see if it'll get grant funding, but if we have a pitch deck, why not share it with you good folks? See what a story looks like scattered across curated slides!
There's also a few shelved things we're trying to sort out the writing of (N.A.T.S. anyone?) to see what else we can start moving. Freedom from festival deadlines means the freedom to crack right on to more work!! We've really been able to push some things thanks to all of ya'll's generous support. We truly believe that our voice actors and musicians are what carry our stories, and it's solely thanks to you all that we can afford to work with such amazing people. The Angel Hare game is just one fun way we're trying to give back, and we're always thinking of more. Looking forward to this spook season and everything that comes with it!
Thanks again and as always, we'll see you next time!
