Added 2022-06-15 01:52:59 +0000 UTCSo I started with the original beholder sculpt and carved away at the meaty bits to come to what I would figure the skull would look like, which actually worked really well!
I'm playing with the eye stalks and planning to make them separate and removable with a ball joint type key so they could be positioned however you like, not used at all or printed in clear for the floating eyes look.

If it was all skeletal I would but the eyes are just ethereal and floating
