Guard Drake Mood board
Added 2021-04-01 10:40:50 +0000 UTCI'm exited for this one just from the mood board alone! Loving the bulky powerful feel from the left side, even the official art plays around with it. The whole thing reminds me a lot of komodo dragons, definitely worth looking at for some good ref but we will want much larger scales and plating, the skin folds are cool though.
I'll have to play around and see what works with the extra bulk but I really like difference in the structure of the komodo, it's clearly a lizard/dragon with the orientation of the legs. All the other art is much more of that typical quadruped build, like a dog or big cat really... I think we can make some more interesting than that.
As always feel free to chuck ideas at me if you come up with anything!
