Chain Devil Moodboard

I've gone over the lore to see what extra details grab my attention and there isn't a whole lot more to play with, he's basically just a guy covered in chains. So I think I'll push a little more towards the devil/demon side at least for the facial features.
Long loops of floating chain are also a huge pain to print, they will need to be fairly chunky with tight links to give more contact area so they aren't so fragile but I'll see what I can come up with during the posing stage... might be able to pull something off like the deathkiss tentacles where they all help support each other or maybe they will just need to be separate parts.

Having them separate is probably the way to go to still have them dynamic but keeping it printable

2021-01-12 21:24:13 +0000 UTCYeah, I can definitely understand the concern about printing floating chains. In fact the one Chain Devil STL I have, they just made the chains wrap around the body and droop to the ground. Still looks neat, but it doesn't exactly make you think of "whirling chains".
