Patreon has just improved their Discord bot, and it's working really well now. Almost too well.
What does that mean? It means that the bot can now automatically assign and remove your Patron roles on our Discord server based on your pledge level and status. No more waiting for me to manually update your roles or wondering why you can't access certain channels.
But there's a catch. The bot needs to know your Discord ID in order to work its magic. If the bot does not know your Discord ID, it will remove your Patron roles from the server.
So how do you make sure the bot knows your Discord ID? It's simple. Just go to your Patreon profile > Settings > More > Connected Apps > Click the Connect button next to Discord under App Integrations, and it will be done.
