If you haven’t seen IU on ‘Infinite Challenge’ - you won’t understand how these two became so close. They teamed up, and IU wrote /composed the song, Leon, for that contest of sorts. It was the song they were singing at the beginning of the episode and was a big hit.

But I'll think of you! My 38th birthday this year has given me back more energy than I expected, so I hope it's the same for you ♥️
