Prince killed this! I knew he was good but jeez it looked like a new level! I hadn't seen this before, just the stage presence and theatrics of how he held the guitar and all made the performance. Then add in how it sounded and it was a great piece!

Also this was a tribute concert to George Harrison. A beetle. The younger guy in back with black hair was his son. Tom Petty was the older man with long hair

(In b4 Segovia bros) Paco de Lucia is goated. For good measure: Dimebagg, Page, Iommi, Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve vai( should I include Satriani, he also taught Alex Skolnick)

He’s criminally underrated!Probably top ten, which is huge. I don’t think this song was meant to be a battle, though, as everyone had their defined roles.
As a Canadian, I have to rep one of our guitar legends, who is also top ten, IMO. Please react to See the Light by Jeff Healey. It’s one of the best live performances on YouTube. Jeff’s the blind guitarist in the movie Road House.

I just wrote on the Vimeo site... I was thinking it depends on what you like. Alexandr Misko is amazing. Stevie Ray Vaughn. Esteban. Kirk Hammett.

My mom had just shown me this vid a couple weeks ago. He isn’t on anyone’s top list of guitarists but this play was INSANE. Still can’t top Hendrix in my opinion. He learned how to to play the guitar like no other with the guitar UPSIDE DOWN because he was left handed and didn’t have a left handed guitar. That alone is INSANE
