I discovered IU through this kdrama. My first experience with kdramas was Mister Sunshine, which I can highly highly recommend, Later when I was just browsing through Kdramas to find another one to watch I came across My Mister. My Mister, Mister Sunshine I thought there might be a connection, writer, director, etc. There was so I started watching it. IU grabbed my heart from the very start. Her performance so connected with me that I started to look into her and see what else she had done. It is then that I discovered that she was a singer. I had zero experience with k-pop and if I had to try and describe it at that time I would have guessed it was bubble gum type music. So I searched for her on YouTube. I was really afraid to listen to her sing because I was afraid I would not care for her music, One of the first things I saw on Youtube was one of her behind-the-scenes videos dealing with her 10th-anniversary tour and especially the last date of the tour. About halfway through, she has gone back up to the stage where her staff and crew are watching a video they put together where they are talking about working for and with IU. This video of the staff was intended to be only for them. But the crowd hasn't left so they are there watching it too. When the staff video ends the most remarkable thing happens. I will leave it at that as this is a video that you may very well want to react to either on Youtube or here on Patreon. But this video says so much about who IU is as a person. I recently read an article about IU's new movie Broker. The Japanese director was speaking about IU. He stated that he had of course hear of her but he first saw her acting in My Mister and that every time IU was on the scene he would cry. Upon reading that I thought to myself this man gets it. He understands the power of her presence and the emotional power that flows from her. I doubt the IU herself fully understands this quality about herself and not everyone feels it or gets it, but those who do understand completely the special quality she has. The ability to heal souls. Those who don't get it either lack a soul or a heart or both.

2022-05-27 06:54:11 +0000 UTCWell said about most dramas about misunderstandings that could easily resolve if the misunderstood explained but like you said then there will be no drama. I always felt so frustrated by the stupidity and by the laziness if the writers to think of us being stupid. Yes, you will soon find emptiness on what to watch next like so many of us😭. Maybe watching IU's dramas that you have not watched. Not as excellent but there is IU🤣. The on going Liberation Note drama is written by the same writer but I have not watch it.

This episode is dramatic and emotional built by logical unaffected setting,well produced story and acting skill. Jian’s emotional transition at telephone booth hit me hardly.
