Best part for me is the humiliation, like after the MC ie aware of the cheating and the girl knows that he knows, the subtle humilation like her seeming bired during sex with the MC abd eventually denying him and jusy giving handjobs, or go further and the MC onmy deserves feet or something else humiliating. Like basically once the girl realises hes accepted his place and she starts getting dominant.

And I've read alot of erotica in this genre in the year since. lolz But the first story I read is also my gold medal for these types of stories and, tho I'm never knocking the silver and bronzes, I'm always especially drawn to aspects that are repeated from it. The story I first read had a husband and wife who were playing up a fantasy where the wife would completely cut off her husband to be a slut for another man. Infact the attitude the wife takes on during all but the check-in parts that she does is very similar to how Mio acted when she dressed as Akemi. I realized that this was getting away from me, so I cut out a bunch of my preamble, but basically what really gets me going is when both of their lust takes them down the rabbithole well and truly past the point of no return, and the woman starts to get a level of pleasure in just the act of cucking her partner in and of itself, even before the great lay. But then they still love eachother and enjoy the company and support outside of the sex. Especially cause in my favorite stories the guy gets cut off in the end and the woman takes enjoyment out of watching her partner jack off as his only release while she gets satisfying orgasms with a partner all the time.

For me, what makes NTR really hit is when the girlfriend/wife actually does love the MC, defends him, and you know she’s loyal at heart — but over time she slowly loses ground. Maybe the other guy is just more attentive, more flirty, or fills a gap the MC left open. That “corruption” arc is the sweet spot: watching her fight inside her own head (“I love him… but why does this feel so good?”) and eventually giving in. That mix of love + betrayal is where the heat is. On discovery: honestly, all three ways work if they’re written right. - Accidentally finding proof, confronting her, and she lies to your face while you want to believe her — that’s hot because the jealousy pang hits but you still trust her. But secretly behind the scene, u get scene where it shows what happening while the MC is trusting her. - Slowly suspecting and overthinking works too — I loved how you did it in My Girlfriend Streaming Career where the MC spirals into imagining what might be happening. It pulls the player into his paranoia. - Told outright: this can work, but it needs a strong setup. If it’s just “she cheated lol,” it’s empty. But if she admits she couldn’t resist, or straight up tells you she’s getting something you can’t give — that lands. One example that stuck with me was from a hentai (Tsuma Netori Rei: Boku no Ayamachi Kanojo no Sentaku). The girlfriend/wife at first was blackmailed or drugged by an ugly bastard I don't remember the exact reason cause after finding out games like these exist I read a lot of games and forgot the details of this hentai aside from things that leave a mark. The MC actually saved her once, got her out, and they thought life was back to normal. But later, when they had sex, she felt unsatisfied. At work, during lunch, she went for a quickie with the bastard again. Eventually she even drugged and tied up her own boyfriend, almost like testing if he could “save her” again — but he couldn’t, because this time he got turned on watching her get taken. When she realized he couldn’t stop it, she told him outright how much better the other guy was. That kind of direct reveal hits because it’s not casual, it’s brutal honesty born from the corruption arc. Voyeurism — hearing beats watching for me. Imagine you come back home and before you even open the door, you hear your wife/girlfriend moaning. You’re stuck listening, trying to piece together what’s going on, and every sound builds tension. That guessing game — who’s in there, what exactly is happening — makes it hotter. By the time you finally see the reveal, the buildup from what you heard first makes it hit ten times harder. Watching is fine, but hearing adds suspense and story. Humiliation — being compared is the big one. From a loyal girl who always defended you, to her moaning about how it’s better with the other guy — that comparison stings and turns me on. Small, cutting lines or that exclusionary look hit harder than crude insults. Third party — I don’t mind the character type, but I’ll be real: I prefer BBC in these stories. I really can't pin point why, but whenever there's BBC it hits HARD. But non BBC also work, like Ota for example, it works really well. Aftermath — obsession and fantasizing are best. Quiet collapse or revenge don’t do much. Weird acceptance doesn’t work for me either — like when the MC just shrugs it off and goes, “oh well, guess this is my life now.” That feels hollow. For me, the MC being stuck replaying what he saw/heard, turning it into fuel for his fantasies, is way more human. It’s not clean acceptance — it’s obsession: the betrayal gets stuck in your head, the jealousy and the arousal twist together until you need to revisit it. That messy loop feels more believable than pretending you’re just fine with it. That’s peak. What makes it authentic is the build up. If she just cheats out of nowhere (“oh look, I fucked your wife”), it does nothing. But if she’s built up as a loving, loyal partner and then slowly starts to slip, that’s when it works. The slow burn has to be balanced though — not too dragged out, not too rushed. When it’s done right, it’s gold. What ruins it: no buildup, flat characters, or moments where you can’t relate to the MC’s jealousy. That kills immersion. I’m giving this as honest feedback from someone who genuinely likes the NTR/cuckold angle and wants better, messier stories.
