Recommend checking out the "Prequel" cooking episode where they basically come up with the K-concept and their ridiculous characters. Also it will give some context why Jiwoo and Sullyoon are so lost here. I think the editing and especially the voice over are done with the help of AI and they probably used like an english voice AI and gave it romanized Korean like "Gamsahabnida" which is why it sounds so funny and janky.

They were trying to stay in characters all the time, the staffs were playing secretaries and security guards and everything. There was an episode before this called mixx family cooking day where they started this concept but sullyoon and jiwoo were not in that episode so they had to take some time to get used to these characters. Sullyoonβs reactions were really funny to me.
