As amazing as SCUMM was back in our days, if it was tried with the generation of our kids, the video game industry would tank. "You mean I have to click WHAT I want to do with the ITEM I want to do it with and even WHERE I want to do it, and only then you'll tell me I'm not close enough and have to walk over to it? Can't I just click the object and it just knows and does it for me?" Not only would SCUMM have failed, but Sierra On-Line would go permanently offline in a week.

As I've said, I really really enjoyed it. BTW, I read in your other comments that you never played the full monkey island game. Well, not long ago they have released a new version of the first and second game with new graphics. I really recommend it. It's funny and challenging.
