Hi guys,
It’s been a while! Just dropping in to let you know that Forsaken Island is still moving forward—maybe not as fast as I’d hoped, since a few outside factors have been slowing me down. The good news is that things should get better from here on out, and I’ll finally have more time to dedicate to the game.
Another “problem” I’ve realized lately is that I’m a bit of a perfectionist. Every time I boot up the game to test something, I end up noticing details I don’t like and… well, I can’t resist tweaking and reworking them. The upside is that the game genuinely gets better with each pass; the downside is that it eats up a lot of time.
The next update is shaping up to be a big one, not just in terms of story and images, but also in polish. I’ve been spending extra time refining the sound design, the music, and all those little transitions between scenes. They might seem like small details, but they’re what really make the island feel alive and immersive.
On top of that, I’ve also been rewriting and tightening parts of the dialogue to make it flow more naturally. Some of you might not even notice the difference directly, but I believe these little improvements will make the overall experience much more enjoyable and immersive.
I’m still aiming to release the next update before the end of the month. There’s plenty left to do, but I’m excited about how it’s coming together.
Thank you so much for your patience and your continued support! Knowing that you’re out there waiting for the next chapter keeps me motivated. I can’t wait to share more of it with you soon!
Sagah
