The demo is almost out!
Added 2024-12-09 16:00:12 +0000 UTCHey guys, here's a bit of news for this week. The development of Forsaken Island is progressing, although not as fast as I'd hoped. I'd say the final game is about 60-65% complete, having had relatively little time to work on it in November and December.
I'm planning to release a first playable demo shortly, which will include the first chapter of the full game. The demo will be available for free download on itch.io. However, with the holiday season approaching, I won't be able to release anything between now and New Year's Eve.
I decided to add a lot of sound effects and music at the last minute. I didn't think it would be such a pain to find all those little sounds one by one. It's really not my favourite part of making a video game...
I hope I'll be able to release something playable soon, so I can move on to the next stage in the slow and difficult process of making a video game!
