There is a genuine sense of emptiness that feels so incongruous to the Christmas theme that lit up behind her - even the orchestra seemed off, like it should have just been her and the pianist… I felt so odd after. 2022-03-04 11:30:34 +0000 UTCThis incredible heartfelt live performance was actually an unscheduled tribute in Memorium for Jonghyun of SHINee who passed away merely 7 days before the Christmas eve show. As it really stood out from the rest of the SBS show, with IU and the pianist appearing visibly remorseful, she even sounded somewhat nasal as if she had been singing crying inside. On top of her final expression really left a deep scarring melancholy impression.
