This is one of the best drama i ever watched but i have to admit, this is also one of the hardest show to watch....it is so heavy.... Started watching this cause i am wondering how IU is going to portray such a character after "The Producer"....glad i started and completed it.

Fortunately some of them came back and they're so grateful. Always tell people you are recommending My Mister to, to persevere beyond episode 4.

Specially when IU was beaten by the loan shark omg I wanted to punch someone because I was like mad madddd. But I'm so fucking glad that I decided to carry on because My Mister turned out to be realistic, relevant and healing story! Lovely rewatching this with you, thank you!

IU said in an interview called the art of conversation that halfway through filming this drama, she called the director to quit the show and even offered to pay compensation for their loss if she lef the drama. She was quite ill as well as the tone of the drama in the beginning was really affecting her. She was so sick that she was hospitalized for 2 weeks and was ordered to rest by her doctor. You can tell in the first 4 episodes how sickly she looked. but the director apologized for not taking care of her and she was very touched by that. So she decided to continue and the director adjusted the schedule for her to give her time to rest.if you're interested in seeing that interview I can send you the file from my google drive. I'll send it to you anyway because tht interview was really good as she talks about her music and her acting. OH, I realized that I did send you the file back in October on private message in Patreon. Did you watch it it?

It’s an interesting comparison between Hotel Del Luna and My Mister, colorful, emotional, strait forward,fiction above the sky vs dark, forbearance, hidden details, reality of bottom life, I bet it is going to make Torsie headache, and talk about it more. BTW, IU was actually very down during shooting the drama, she even asked for quitting the drama team. However, this show and acting are really subtle and relatable. I like the hidden gem behind the cold real life.

Yes, the first few episodes are quite hard to get through and it’s very stressful to watch the bare reality of our world. However, that’s what I love about this drama. It doesn’t try hard to cover up the darkness of people’s lives and make it seem all calm and romantic. Instead, it conveys the types of love and humanity which truly exist in our own lives as well! Good luck for the next few episodes but after those introductory episodes, you’ll find comfort by watching the character development of those two main leads 🥰

At first it's a bit chaotic, and you don't really know what to feel, but slowly the feelings clear up... I foresee an "intense" journey :P
