When you talked how grief can not end I immediatly tought of IU's my sea explanation. In one of her explanation of her song my sea (I believe so), at the last part of the song she recalls the first line of the song by saying (not the actual lyrics): even tough, there might be some hard times again,I will find my way back. She said that pain, lost and grief are never leaving you, you just accept to live with them and get used to it. And thats how you can get your way back and grow stronger. I loved your insight on winter sleep, it made me remember the lost of my cat and all of the phases I got to experience. I sincerly hope you are getting better day by day and that you are accepting the pain as it is. I lost my cat 2 years ago, the pain is still there but I am now in peace by accepting her lost.💜

Wow, this was brilliant. Combined with your YT video about Winter Sleep this is such a thoughtful, heart felt, and insightful exploration of a song. There's no way to adequately tell you how much I appreciate your deep dive. I think I'd still vote for an exploration into Love Letter. It's IU again at her best (at least it seems to me) and seems to be a complement to Winter Sleep.

When I first heard Winter Sleep and reading her description of the song, I started to weep because the vision that came to my mind was my Mom who I was very close to and missed so much. This is my favorite song in Pieces. Although I have listened to this song many times, I still manage to cry every time. Thank you for this really insightful and thorough disection of this beautiful song.

It’s very seldom to see a singer produce an inner mind world about the matter of death with such a beautiful and calm vocal and lyrics. It’s sad yet comforting. Iu leaves the nature of four seasons, it’s circular, the life goes on. Hope you get Torsie as usual soon!
