I also agree with Mathew that you should watch My Mister after we finish with Hotel del Luna. Personally, I think this IU's best performance to date.

I also love how you are "fluid" in your interpretation: changing track as you learn more about a song. It's a refreshing approach. Your interpretation, in small places, reminds me of My Mister. IU is a "mutant" (and entirely unique person). When I first heard about My Mister and how good it was, I delayed watching for about 6 months. After all how good can a show really be that has a pop star as one of its main characters? Wow, turns out I was very very wrong. Once you see what IU does in My Mister you can never "unsee" it (in the best way possible). So I wanted to share another side of IU's personality. At the end of one concert in 2017 she gives a talk. She's done the concert. She's done the encore. Then she ends with this 12 minute talk. I can't think of anyone else who would do that! And she's so eloquent in what she wants to convey. What she says also fits in with some research on reading that indicates even with novels we love that we often don't remember many details about the novel 6 months, a year, or more after reading the book. What we remember quite clearly is the feeling the novel implanted in us. I’ve been a fan of her for a very long time, yet, it is so fascinating how I get to discover new aspects of her music or a different interpretation about her lyrics to mine. I totally agree with your opinion that it is quite disturbing to think how some people see the lyrics in an inappropriate way even when they know the story behind it. Anyways, your podcasts are very delightful and interesting so keep it up 😁
