He said that he accepted the role in HDL without reading the script when they told him IU is in it. IU kept in touch with him after YATBLSS, seeking his advice in acting and she attended his plays (he did a lot of Shakespeare's and Western plays) whenever he invited her. She would send him her comments and thoughts about the play.

I actually met IU for the first time with this drama and I had no clue she was a singer too (and what a singer!). And I also couldn't say what her age was: was she a woman in her 30s who looked younger, or a 20 girl who looked mature?!? It was so weird! But now I know that she is such a wonderful timeless being, with a wise soul in a really pretty and young body😜 P.S. Sorry for my poor English
