Sailor Moon wips + Shinji update
Added 2022-09-21 08:06:09 +0000 UTCGood news and bad news. My computer has been busted since last week right before I was going to released Shinji. Some new parts are coming this Thursday hopefully it will fix it.
The Good news is I was able to borrow a laptop and add all my Blender needs. There is not enough room to port to sfm but I was able to work on Sailor Moon!
Here is what I got so far
Originally, I was going to use this fan made model by Hutariwap but I found there is a model rip from a Sailor Moon Vr Dream Flight. It has better controls and is well made.
The art style is based on a mix of the anime and manga but I like the 90s look.
I made a few edits to the eyes and added some blush lines.
After that I got the new body base and changed the proportions to fit the model. Just getting the torso to fit shows how long Sailor Moon's arms and legs are lol
Still I wanted the 90s look
Luckly, I found some character sheets from that series
Limbs are still long but it closer to what I want
Then I did some refitting on the new body.
This version has her in Super form, but I can change that later.
Then I attached the head to the new body
Next the arms
When dealing with tight gloves I just cut the arm and smooth out the fingernails.
Now for the classic Sailor Moon outfit
Because I don't want to take the whole outfit and refit it again, I took some parts from the fan made verion to the new body.
I even made a copy of the Super skirt and cut the v shape to the waist.
I also made some edit to the tiara
with that we got classic Sailor Moon!
Colors aren't final though did these temporary textures on ms paint lol
Of course, the Super form is ready too
Next up is the school uniform!
Because the clothes were baggy and I tried to get the proportions as close to the original, there were only a few places that needed fixing.
That's all I got for now I'll be working on casual outfits and swimsuits next
